Stone & Bug Deflector Installation Information
The WeatherTech® Stone
& Bug Deflector's are designed to attach in three different mounting
styles. (1) Vehicle's with existing holes under the hood simply screw in
place with provided Phillips head fasteners. (2) Vehicle's without
existing holes the Stone & Bug Deflector mounts to the under side of
the hood with 3M-brand adhesive tape (the same stuff that holds your body
side moldings on). (3) Vehicle's without access under the hood for example
the RX300 (shown above), ML320 / ML430 and CR-V etc., the Stone & Bug
Deflector mounts to the hood surface with 3M-brand adhesive tape. Which
ever type of mount your vehicle takes you can be assured the installation
will be rock solid. Detailed step-by-step instructions are included with
each Stone & Bug Deflector along with the necessary mounting hardware
for an easy do-it your self installation in under 10 minutes. |
